V-vis is an editor and columnist for YES! Magazine
and www.yes-wedo.com website.
She started writing on architectural articles for the Association
of Siamese Architect and later expanded into writing short-story.
In 2001, her writing career has taken-off from publishing
the first volume of her short stories compilation.
Concurrently, she won the first prize in "house and nature"
architectural design contest project. Therefore, V-Vis has
been known as an "Architect writer". Her second
volume of short-stories was published not long after. From
her success in writing short-stories, she has been contacted
from various magazines to become a regular columnist. Currently,
she is also a prolific writer of articles in several weekly
magazines.
In 2002, she launched www.yes-wedo.com online
magazine with the concept to assist the youth to "wake
up and dream and search for the right lifestyle and career
paths". Just a short while, the web magazine has attracted
a number of members. Thus, in 2003, she decided to publish
YES! Pocket Magazine by aiming to reach out to the youth throughout
the country. Nowadays, more than 300 schools around the country
have become members of YES! by officially joining in WAKE
UP & DREAM PROJECT.
The first issue of YES! Magazine highlights a career in writing
in all aspects.
Prior to become a writer, V-vis background is in architecture.
V-vis received her Master of Architecture from University
of Colorado at Denver (UCD) and her Bachelor of Architecture
from Chulalongkorn University. Before her return to Thailand
she taught at UCD and worked for Michael Barber Architecture
in Denver.
She is the first full-time professional lecturer in architecture
and computer graphic design of Thammasat University's faculty
of architecture. She is also a special lecturer at Chulalongkorn
University, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology and Kasem
Bundit University. After a few years of teaching in architecture
and computer graphic, she establishes DP-Studio Co., Ltd.,
which specializes in architecture, interior design, landscape,
graphic design, 3D, ANIMATION and Websites
